Sheet Machines Standard and Semi-automatic Sheet Formers permit the preparation of a smooth and reproduceable handsheet to measure the optical and physical properties of a pulp, with a minimum of washing and contamination of the sample. All LABTECH Formers are constructed of 316 Stainless Steel. Bronze bushings are used to insure smooth operation of hinged components. The Grid Plate, Deckle, Sheet Mold, Drop leg and Sump are constructed of 316 Stainless Steel. The unique latch system is also constructed of solid stainless. An adjustable bronze wear plate insures a proper seal of the deckle against the sheet mold. All formers are supplied with 2 couch plates and 1 grid plate (150 or 120 mesh). Three versions are available.
White Water Return System (Option for Sheet Machines) Laboratory White Water return system is used to determine
the effect of the White Water on the physical properties of
the Pulp. All Labtech Sheet Machines may be fitted with this
system. The system provides the opportunity to use the former
with or without the White Water. System supplied complete
including the reservoir, supply line and pump for
re-circulation of the white water through the sheet forming
system. |
